Core values are the shared principles that underpin the work of the Organization and guide the actions and behaviors of United Nations staff members in carrying out their individual work: integrity, professionalism and respect for diversity/gender. All United Nations staff members are expected to behave in accordance with the core values and will be appraised on these values. Integrity Upholds the principles of the United Nations Charter.
